Talk: The Buildings of Holbrook by Dr Michael Lobb

MSDS Heritage recently completed an Historic England funded project on

Holbrook’s Hidden Heritage. Michael Lobb is a Buildings Archaeologist

who has worked extensively across the Midlands and now works for MSDS

Heritage in Holbrook, Derbyshire. Michael has a particular interest in

agricultural, domestic and industrial buildings from the late 18th and

early 19th centuries.

On 30th November we’ll be bringing a little bit of Scottish fun and hospitality to Belper.

There’ll be snacks and refreshments available including a wee dram or two to enjoy on the night but the most important thing is to bring your dancing shoes and your friends.

Whether you know your Dashing white  Sergeant from your Strip the Willow or not, your don’t need worry as ‘The Treacle City Dance Band’ will help talk you through all the dances.
